Q&A
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DIETITIAN AND NUTRITIONIST?
All dietitians are nutritionists but not all nutritionists are dietitians. In the United States a dietitian has to have a bachelor's degree in science, complete a year-long internship and pass a nationally-credited exam in order to become a registered dietitian (RD) or registered dietitian/nutritionist (RDN).
RD's are qualified to practice across a broad range of settings, such as hospitals, research institutions, and sports teams. They may prescribe nutrition therapy to help treat or prevent acute and chronic illnesses.
WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER DIETITIAN SERVICES?
Most likely not as the services they cover are very limited. I do not accept health insurance reimbursement but I'm happy to provide you with a receipt to file on your own.
WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT DO YOU TAKE TAKE?
All credit cards are accepted
